City Infrastructure Development Fund (CIDF)
The Govt. of Assam in Department of Housing and Urban Affairs implementing City Infrastructure Development Fund (CIDF) for the infrastructure development of 15 towns excluding Guwahati. At present 223 projects with involvement of Rs.1034.64 crore have been taken up for implementation and Govt. of Assam has released an amount of Rs. 738.07 crore for the ongoing and completed projects under SOPD. Out of total sanctioned projects so far 171 projects have been physically completed. Government has decided to complete all ongoing projects and committed to clear all past liabilities.
